Reseña del editor
Twenty-year-old Lauren Reed is a nice girl. She doesn't mean to kill anyone. But then she runs headfirst into some nasty criminals, and she smashes them into a brick wall. Repeatedly. Enthusiastically. And without ever touching them. Lauren discovers she's been possessed by Nemesis, the goddess of vengeance. Their minds and souls intermingle, causing Lauren to experience the suffering of the innocent first-hand every time she closes her eyes. With the visions comes the power to do something about it, but Lauren believes in justice, not vengeance. Now she has two enemies to fight: the evildoers in her head and the psychopathic deity who thinks she owns her.

There is a really great trend in books these days of the under dog female overcoming some serious entanglements in order to come out on top. I like Lauren specifically because she was not immediately singled out as different. She was not the one that you could tell would become self-sacrificing early on in the book. The encounter with elderly lady vengeance is seemingly random and it adds a reality to the novel, even with its fantasy plot. I also compliment Laurens stead-fast attitude about it. Most college ladies would probably not handle it with the same ease as Lauren and they would easily submit to Vengeance's ways.
The only problem I have with it is the same problem I have with most YA type novels. It seems like content is missing so it makes it an easier read. I hope that makes sense and isn't entirely vague. It isn't the writing, the author does a good job, and it isn't dumbed or watered down. It just feels like it could have expanded in certain areas but I realize that is probably just personal preference. Otherwise, a good story! I enjoyed it.
