3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Not QI compliant 29 de noviembre de 2012

Be aware that this item uses proprietary technology and is not QI complaint. QI is the inducion charging standard that apparently everyone but Powermat uses. As long as you are using Powermat cases and accessories it works fine, but may not work with some phones, such as the new HTC 8X.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Does Not Work With HTC DNA 18 de diciembre de 2012

I have the new HTC DNA that has the built in inductive charging feature. I was disappointed to see that this charger doesn't work with the built in wireless charger in my phone. I could use the adapter to charge it but whats the point? If I have to plug a wire into my phone I might as well just use my wall charger that verizon supplied with the phone. I will be going to the verizon store today to just buy the Nokia charger that they suggest.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Love the concept 30 de diciembre de 2012

I love the idea, and I have the case and single charger for my iphone 4S as well. I leave the charger and work and the powermat at home. The powermat can charge two items simultaneously, and comes with tips that will work with pretty much all your devices. I love this concept as I constantly use my phone at home and work and its easy to just pick up and use, then put back on the charger when done. No cords to fuss with. Some complaints I have;

The iPhone 4S case is a little longer, and makes the phone a tad bigger than I'd like. It's pretty much the same length as an iPhone 5. I wish the iPhone would make this feature built in like the newer phones have, such as the Nokia 920.

The powermat is also a bit finicky and if you don't place the device just right, the magnets don't connect and you have to move it around a bit. That's annoying. On the single phone charger, the phone fits perfectly and can't move around, so it charges fine each time.

Lastly, each time you place the phone or device on the powermat, it makes a little sound to indicate that it's charging. You can't turn off this sound and there are times that I need it off. The fact that you can't turn it on or off or adjust the volume is annoying. Overall, I'm still using this technology, but I can't wait for it to evolve a bit more.

2.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Product does not last - steadily loses power 20 de febrero de 2013

I had high hopes for this product. In the beginning it worked fine. Simple theory... just keep the pad plugged in the wall and when your phone needed charged - lay phone down and plug phone in to charger.

Steadily over time I noticed phone would not charge fully up. I would have to lift up the Powercube and place it back on the pad to continue charging. Now it only stays charging for a short period of time. I am tired of lifting up the cube several times to get my phone charged.

This product should have lasted longer. It was not moved from its position. I believe I wasted my money. I definitely would not consider purchasing this product again. It is easier to just plug my phone in the wall. This product could never charge anything larger than a phone.
I suggest you think twice before getting this product.

Half of the items I try to use with the universal adapters don't pick up a charge or even notice they're charging. Of course this isn't on the Qi standard or whatnot for the Nexus 4, so that can't be brought into the account.

It does have a universal plug that fits my girlfriend's Korean-imported Lollipop phone (she's had it since before T-mobile began carrying it), and she can never find her charging cables, so it does get used quite often - but not for the features that it totes, simply for convenience that A) it was already sitting on the counter when she needed it and B) I don't feel like finding her original charger. Or C) buying a new one.

And so it sits... mocking me with its cute little charging engaged/disengaged notification noises every time she charges her phone.
