1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas I'm glad others like it 16 de octubre de 2016

This knife, No. 6, is too fragile for me. The blade creased attempting to open it. I'm glad others like it, but I am not accustomed to a blade this in substantial.

No. 8 (square end), arrived with a twisted shaft...? Surprising since the only thing in a 3x10x12 box was 3 palette knives. One the 3rd, a different brand, was wrapped in bubble wrap for some reason. The two Reeves knives were loose, but the box was in perfect condition, which makes me think someone failed to notice the damaged No. 6 when it was shipped.

I am not going to return them since they were so inexpensive.

Since the No 6 creased, I went ahead and tested it and realized that if they bend, they retain the bend. All my older knives spring back so that's what I expected here. No great loss, but disappointing.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great for the price 20 de junio de 2016

I wen't on ahead and decided to give this a 5 star, only because compared to the expensive Italian knife set I bought, that cost more than twice as much per knife these were pretty much spot on the exact same quality. If it weren't for the brand stamp I honestly wouldn't be able to tell the difference

I would like to say I had been mixing my paints with an extremely small painting knife for years, and this one has me tickled pink. It is a good size that now I am not getting paint all the way up the blade and to the handle. It is sturdy, and the blade itself does not flex much. The quality is excellent. I have not tried to actually paint with it; therefore, I cannot verify how well it applies paint to canvases, or how well you can paint with the knife. However, I am typically of the opinion that the latter is more in the personal preference category.

I refurbished a Macey Banister bookcase and had to do a lot of stripping and repair of a severely damaged finish. I had to re-glue a lot of the oak veneer that was lifted from exposure to the elements. This tool allowed me to gently cut and lift sections to inject new glue. I saved the piece and finished it in red mahogany and it looks stunning in my Living Room.
