5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas All Swiss-made automatic watch for $500 from a classic brand? I guess it's possible. 8 de junio de 2010
Por G. Lee - Publicado en
I don't have the brown bezel version, I have the green bezel one. This watch has a lot of details and is of high craftsmanship. The rotating bezel clicks snugly. There is plenty of link included to accommodate even the largest wrists. The locking clasp is nothing fancy but works as it should.

It's hard to tell on the picture, but the band links are matt finished except for the line that runs down the edge (about 0.5mm), which is polished. On the dial, there are many concentric circles and the reflection of light is like a radar sweep, which is really cool. The position markers are laid with precision. There are a lot of subtle details on the watch that won't jump out on you immediately. It will take time to appreciate this watch.

Maurice Lacroix is a very good name, but they are not a marketing company like LVMH and doesn't advertise everywhere either. But if you do some research you will find that they are a solid company. For $500, you cannot beat the price. It certainly beats companies like Invitca that sells a cheap watch but sets an MSRP 10x its real value.

p.s. This watch is also known as the Miros diver automatic. I haven't found a lot of information on this watch and it is not in ML's current line up, so I guess it's discontinued.
