Reseña del editor

How do you get a child interested in learning about finance? Give them a comic book! Robert Kiyosaki, author of the Rich Dad series, recognised the increasing need for people to begin their their journey to financial literacy - and life-long wealth - as early as possible, even before they become teenagers! In Escape from the Rat Race basic lessons about 'working to learn, not to earn', buying assets and understanding the financial statement are revealed through the kid-friendly tale of Timid E Turtle. When Tim runs out of cash at an amusement park his savvy friend, Red E Rat, shows him how to make money work for him - and tells Robert T. Kiyosaki's own riveting account of learning the basic principles of financial success.

Illustrated with full-colour sequential art that ties in to Rich Dad's popular cashflow games and Website, here's a book that allows children - and reluctant readers of all ages - the chance to take their first steps towards financial success.

Biografía del autor

my kids ages 10 and 11 liked this book, but seemed to think it was geared toward kids a bit younger than them.
the book is in comic book form, is easy to read, and tells a similar story to the book "rich dad poor dad".
I think my kids liked the audiobook of "rich dad poor dad" a bit better than this though.

After reading this book a couple of times, my 9 year old daughter is speaking much differently about money. Her consciousness about money is shifting. It is great to hear my children speak differently about money than I did as a child. She is already thinking in terms of assets. Very COOL. Being in comic book format made her really excited to read it.

I order this book for my son. The information that Mr. Kiyosaki is priceless for wealth building and confidence. I believe these both come hand-in-hand. I would recommend this for any parent who is serious about educating their child about how to navigate the financial matrix.

My 9 year old son read this entire book in an hour, so it's an easy read for kids. He said the comics were cool and he was actually able to tell me what the book was about. He said he enjoyed it and learned a little on the first go around.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Slow start, but message of entrepreneurialism is spot on 27 de febrero de 2014

A little slow to start with. The only part I would disagree with, is that education is very important to be able to a) secure enough understanding to be able to recognise opportunities when they present themselves, and also to then make the most of them.
b ) to get a reasonable employment to have some funds or credit behind you to embark on some of the entrepreneurial activities that Robert quite rightly advocates.
