Another feature is the charge AH and the load AH. I have at the time of this writing about 400AH in and a little less out, meaning I saved 5.5kWH just within a few weeks. However, this is not the primary reason for the Solar setup, being independent with the system that is supplied, means a lot more to me than the savings. Also, whatever the panels deliver, does not have to come off the grid. Another nice feature is, that you can switch the load out with press of one button.
I am quite happy with the price to performance ratio.
Here are the features: All voltages can be set down to 1 decimal place and can even be regulated outside the 12v range. You can set load on voltage and load off voltage. You can set load on 24hrs or off. You can set what battery voltage to stop the charging process. You can view the ampere charge, the battery voltage and it has indicators that show when the panels are charging or not and when the load in on or not. It also keeps track of the Ampere Hours. All in all this has been a great and dependable item. I have also tested this on numerous other panels outputting up to 39v and it worked fine.
The next month I was electrocuted at work 480 volt loosing all the skin from my dominant hand and left me fearful of electricity so didn't do anything with the controller until a month ago may 2016. When i hooked up the controller it was doa and since it had been so long after purchase and figuring the warranty gone, I opened it up an found a few bad solder joints that I repaired. Felt sorry for some person working so hard they probably didn't see it as the rest was soldered very nice.
The unit has been working great for a month now. Love the display verses lights.
