Doesn't fit correctly in a Dell Studio Slim 540s. You can get it in there by using 2 of the 3 mounting holes. It still leaves a 3mm "gap" between the case and the power supply. Also, the 4-pin cable to the motherboard is barely barely barely long enough to reach. If my video card were just a tiny bit taller, I would have been out of luck.

It works, my Studio is happy with the power and runs fine. If you're replacing the PSU in a Dell Studio Slim, buy something else.

HP s5000 Slimline case.

1045t OC'ed 3.4 Ghz
Gigabyte AM3+ board.
ZALMAN CNPS 8900 Extreme
Sapphire Radeon HD 7750 OC'ed to 900mhz
Case fans, Peripherals, etc.

This little PS supplies good power for a mid level gaming rig.

Good value for a stock or gaming build, the HP came with a 220w that was failing.

Didn't line up 100% with the HP case, left a small gap at the bottom - but the mounting holes lined up for solid install.

Would buy again.

2.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Now I Have to Buy a 12v Extender Cable? 25 de febrero de 2014

How much is Rosewill saving off of the short 12v atx cable? I have a Dell 530s, Motherboards are not much smaller than what is inside this particular computer. Very disappointed to find that now I have to wait another week to get one of my computers working, and another 5 dollars later. I ended up buying the: StarTech 8-Inch ATX 12V 4-Pin P4 CPU Power Extension Cable (ATXP4EXT). Plus there is a stupid gap that other reviewers have talked about, is this a joke? How can you create effective circulation within a case, if you have two gaping holes next to an input fan??

The power supply works, so I can't give it one star, but I really want to because this is ridiculous. Add an extra inch so I can plug in this one cable! Never buying Rosewill again!!

I received a Dell-530S with a dead PS as a "fix it and it's yours" gift, so I gave this PS a shot.

As a replacement supply this worked well. Not an exact fit and only 3 mounting screws line up on the Dell-530S but it's a pretty solid mount even with 3 screws. It is advertised with 1 SATA but actually has 2. Exactly what I needed so no need for the MOLEX to SATA converter. The 4-pin lead is a little short but if you untangle it from the cable bundle you can get a little more reach. As others have said this PS is very quiet. Even after I added processor, additional disk drive, and TV recorder upgrades, everything still runs cool and quiet. Kind of ended up with a HTPC for very little investment since all the upgrades were used parts from other projects. And, did I mention, it's really quiet.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas It's quite but 4-pin is really short. 12 de agosto de 2011

4-pin is short. I guess that manufacturer didn't know that some TFX cases like mine require power supply bottom of it not like ordinary cases.
So, I purchased a $4 4-pin extension. Anyway, I am satisfied with this one because it is quite.

Pros: Quite and Cheap
Cons: 4-pin is short. You might need to purchase 4-pin extension.
