it's like a summary of hand book i was quiet shocked about how small it was when it arrived but still there is some information, if you are looking for something in detailed i suggest you not to buy it.

Libro sencillo que permite hacerse una primera idea de los conceptos de Scrum.

Ideal como punto de entrada a esta nueva forma de gestionar ciclos de trabajo.

One of the more drastic transitions at my current job was formally adapting Scrum in place of an informal, best-effort approach we used before. This book helped me grasp what Scrum is really about in less than an hour. There is no filler here, no anecdotes nor reiteration. Pure content, well distilled. Just what I needed. We have been trained more thoroughly since but it was this book which got me going.

I wish more introductory books were like this one: skipping the waffle, delivering just the gist of the subject.

Update: when I originally wrote the review, the book had display problems on Kindle Touch. This issue has been fixed since. The font size is very small but legible. One could argue this is deliberate for an introductory reference material, this way it's very easy to leaf through the book.

I bought this book as a job aid to learn the elements of Agile in a small amount of time. I bought a separate book prior to this that was just too much to digest. I was pleased to have found and consumed this book in just about 30 minutes and got a solid understanding of Agile project management. Small enough to fit in my pocket, this is my go-to resource so I know what's going on on our projects. Simple, complete, and to the point. This is the clif-notes of Agile.

The book is very short, it should take about 30 minutes to get through it. Only worthwhile if you've never heard of Scrum/Agile and know very little about Systems Engineering in general. It will only inform you about the process with some general guidelines.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas For 99 cents, go for it. 17 de junio de 2016

Long for a pamphlet but short for a book, this is a helpful introduction to scrum. It is clearly-written, well-organized, and includes a little gentle humor. This item is specifically targeted to individuals (like me until now) with little or no prior knowledge of scrum/Agile. It is probably true, as some negative reviewers claim, that the same information is available for free on the Web, but I find it helpful to have it in one place. In my view you can't go wrong for 99 cents for Kindle, but $8.96 for paperback might be a little high. Using the free Kindle reader for PC I found text to be easily-readable, although for one diagram I had to squint a little.

This book is a good introduction for people who may be familiar with classical waterfall project management techniques, and want to get some context around the differences when compared to the agile process. The book is brief and easy to understand. It probably would've been more powerful if there were examples of the artifacts that are commonly used in scrum.
