When Woodward Randell, the millionaire adventurer, finds half of a treasure map, he persuades his wealthy friend, Wilson Lane, to travel with him to rural Long Island in search of hidden treasure. They each find treasure beyond measure in the form of Diana Leicester and Carolyn Nelson.
The buried treasure proves a little harder to find. Its discovery is made more complicated by deception within the small group, ancestral family rumors and even the ghost of the pirate who buried it!
