2.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great sound quality, but the mic is not robust and renders them useless 22 de marzo de 2013

I love Sony ear buds and have continued to purchase them for 10+ years, but getting these with the integrated mic was not a happy experience. The sound quality was great. However, I use them on a daily basis for 2-6 hours, sometimes while exercising or doing yard work. From time to time the mic got water, sweat, and mud onto it. It isn't sealed and the plastic clam-shell actually came loose sooner than you would think. All of these factors eventually led to some kind of short-circuit that was triggered by slight wetness, humidity, and possibly even heat, alone. That would cause the smartphone to think that the mic button was being held down - which tells it to make a call (redial, I think). But it also tells the phone to END the current call, too. The result was that I'd be out doing yard work, just listening to music, when suddenly the phone would start dialing, hanging up, then redialing - continuously (about 2-3 calls placed per second). Eventually I smashed the mic out of frustration, as it started happening even when they were completely dry - while simply driving (heat? sunlight? no idea). This has led me to decide that you are best off having your mic separate from your headphones. Having the two built-in to the same product just creates the opportunity for nice head phones to become unusable due to a disfunctional mic. The problem is it is hard to find a "good quality"/rugged mic that can be used in-line with 3.5mm headphones. I bought one of the ones available on Amazon and it's housing broke while simply being toted around in a bag (it still works... but the button depends on the housing being intact). So I wish Sony or a reputable mfr would make a good-quality, stand-alone mic, instead.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas The best and nothing expensive Sony in-ears!!! 19 de julio de 2014

First, I've been looking for high quality of sound and great material's quality, too. I bought many earphones of many brands and very expensive and never convinced me and I only lasted a short time.

One day, 2 years ago my mother gave me a pair of sony in-ears DRXB23VP and everything changed. It have the quality of true high quality and expensive headphones and the best materials quality like anything for only $25! Is so crazy.
In this time I had to buy it in amazon because I lost it, not because they have been damaged. I van get this quality over $100 headphones. I bought 2. ;)
4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Great stereo headset for Android users! 2 de febrero de 2012

I bought these after trying and returning the A-Jays Jays One+. The Sony DRXB23VP headset sounds very good. Clean and pumping bass, comfortable ear-tips, tangle free cord, decent mic, reasonable price, and works with my Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM). I was disappointed with the A-Jays, but still use their Android App to control this headset. My complaints are 1. the placement of the mic is a bit low on the headset, I would have preferred the mic to be placed higher up near the left or right earbud (this did not affect their ability to pick up my voice through) 2. The 3.5mm plug is straight. I would have preferred it to be the angled type as that is better for putting your phone in your pocket. It does come with an angled adapter, but I think it is for iOS devices because when I use it, it makes the sound hollow and weird sounding. I highly recommend these for Android users as the choice for us is pretty limited. I was also looking at the Klipsch Image S4a but they were double the price of these Sonys and I could not justify the price difference. I hope this review helps. Enjoy!

Bought these at a lower, discontinued price. For $20 and compared to others in the same price range these earbuds are great! Sometimes I have to adjust the angle positioned in my ear to get the full bass, but that might be caused from using the wrong sized bud; I haven't taken the time to test it out. Microphone works best if you make use of the included clip to keep it close to your chin.
5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas still happy with them after 3 years. 24 de diciembre de 2014

For the money you can't go wrong. Only few can provide the same quality as this for the price. I love it so much I bought 2. Been using it almost everyday for over 3 years. The only thing I wish with this model is to have push button instead of a knob for volume. So it control the phone volume instead of limits the volume your phone is set at. But other then that, the bass, treble, and mid are amazing.
