4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Fun But A Little Glitchy 27 de diciembre de 2013

When I say glitchy I'm referring to the turret's rotation. Sometimes I really have to push hard on the button to get it to rotate. I have a gut feeling that eventually it's just going to stop rotating. I like the looks of the tank. It looks very realistic. The sounds are okay. The firing mechanism is good. Don't expect explosive impact from the projectiles, but they are fun. I would recommend this for a person who is a little bit older (maybe 15 and up) only because I think that it probably won't take much abuse.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Highly Recommended Remote Control "BIG" Tank 16 de abril de 2014
Por Nelson Hsu - Publicado en Amazon.com

This remote control tank is awesome, I love it.
It runs pretty fast, everything works great. Even though made of plastic, but durable and light.
Realistic electronic engine sounds, with turret that moves 180 degree left and right, and up and down.
It is not just a toy, and it is a collectable item, too.

The only draw back for this RC tank is the battery. It runs around15 minutes for each 5-1/2 hours charging time.
It is more enjoyable if the manufacturer comes with a quick charger.

I had to return it because the arm fell off the gunner, the antenna was hanging by a thread and there were slits on the tracks.

I was really disappointed as I had purchased it for my Adult son who drove this type of tank when in the Army. It was my BIG SURPRISE FOR TIM.

My son has been battling Leukemia for 9 years, he has some Graft versus host problems, I am not looking for sympathy here, he is an amazing man, and has the most positive attitude, and, complete faith in all of his doctors at the Cleveland Clinic.

2.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Review for Hobby Engine M1A2 Abrams Desert Tan 28 de mayo de 2013
Por Delta1477 - Publicado en Amazon.com

Reviewing the Hobby Engine R/C M1A2 Abrams tank (Desert Tan).

Starting off with the box the tank comes in. It's quite large, housing the R/C Tank in Styrofoam. Unpacking the tank takes some time since you might be digging around to get the accessories out. The tank itself is quite large, moderately detailed and seems durable. I repainted the tank a tad to add more realism to it. The tank comes with a 800 MAH battery which takes about 6 hrs for a full charge of about 15 mins of play time. Definitely look for an upgrade on the battery. The controller is small and quite light weight. It's quite simple to master.

However, I experienced a small flaw in the entire product. This flaw is that the turret doesn't turn to the left. Strangely enough, it worked fine on the first charge. I have written to the company over a month ago and have not received a reply. Also, the range is also off. Turns out that the tank goes no further than 25 feet or so before it stops responding. UPDATE: 1/30/17. I have had the tank for close to four years now. I attempted to get the tank started, got the battery charged, and turned on the tank. The tank did not start up, and does not respond to controls at all. I tried to contact Hobby Engine again and they did not reply, so now I am left with a 1/16th scale RC tank in the basement that does nothing.

Pros:
-Tank looks good, detail and sound wise.
-Moves well.
-Controls are a basic two thumb control for independent tread movement with five buttons below the controls. These are in order from left to right: main turret gun up/down, fire main gun, turret rotate left/right.
-Nice size for a display.

Cons:
-Turret won't turn to the left.
-Long battery charge for a short amount of play: Get a better battery.
-Hobby Engine customer service does not help.
-Short range.

Conclusion:
For the price, I would look around for another tank that does not have defects. Get VS Tank or Tokyo Marui.
