If you like Dino this is in my opinion a must-have. Love the arrangements by Nelson Riddle and of course Dean's silky voice. So happy I purchased and that it's available as MP3. My favorites are "On the Street Where You Live", "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" and "Heaven Can Wait". But I really enjoy them all. If you appreciate Dean you won't regret this purchase.

I'm not a big Dean Martin fan, but I heard some selections on Jonathan Schwartz' Sirius programon Channel 4. Dean and Nelson Riddle combine here to do a great job on some old (well they were new once) tunes. Well worth it if you can find one.

i was so happy to find this CD!! I've got Dean's Greatest Hits and Live at the Sands recordings, but this is the one that means the most to me. This Hallmark CD release plays brilliantly on my car and home stereo with crisp sound. The Great American Songbook here is under the great arangements and baton of jazz master Nelson Riddle, who also worked with Sinatra, Fitzgerald, and Clooney.

My favorite tracks are "True Love" (that his daughter Deana recorded with him ala Nat & Natalie Cole on her album, Destination Moon, http://smile.amazon.com/Destination-Moon-Deana-Martin/dp/B00F146H16/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1416511149&sr=1-1-fkmr0&keywords=deana+martin+dest. I also appreciate "On The Street Where You Live" in a laid back, uptempo; "Please Don't Talk About Me When I'm Gone"; "I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face" (which Dean made his own like Nat Cole did); and of course, "Just In Time" (a Sammy Cahn classic, recorded by everyone, but again in Dean's inimitable style).

For a budget release, as I stated, the sound performance on both home and car were excellent. For any collector of the Rat Pack or the Great American Songbook, this is a classic addition to your library.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Horrible digital transfer!! 9 de agosto de 2014

This is a review of the Hallmark release of 2012. Hallmark is a subsidiary of Pickwick, a budget label (not, in and of itself, a bad thing but they have been known to reissue albums with questionable mastering).

The music itself is great. Dean Martin paired with Nelson Riddle!! The digital transfer and mastering, however, are truly terrible.

The vocals have no life to them. It sounds as if Dino was singing through gauze - very dull with little top-end. Even worse is the sound of the horns!! Lots and lots of distortion and little clarity. This release does a tremendous disservice to the material.
