guys. It's so big guys. Guys. GUYS. You don't understand. IT'S SO BIG!
No, it's bigger than you're thinking. You're probably thinking "what, like twice the size of a normal deck box?" Hahahaha. That's what I was thinking. I was wrong. I was so wrong. It's massive. Enormous. Gigantic. It's the Hummer H2 of deckboxes. It's William Perry as a deck box. It's like ultra pro wanted to make a deckbox inspired by the federal deficit and through mad science and dark sorcery they succeeded.
Here's a list of things you could fit in this deckbox:
A commander deck plus tokens
A standard deck with sideboard and tokens
a small notepad and pen to track life
a couple dice
Yeah, sure. But that's what the man wants you to put in the deckbox. What if we got creative? Here's some stuff I tested and it also fits in the deck box:
Funko Pop! Garruk figure
several dozen Starburst candies
a foil LSV token in a toploader
Don't let the man make your decisions for you. I know what I'm going to be carrying in this thing.
But box is super large. There should be pictures to help customer know how big it really is.
I love the dice and sideboard compartment, it saves me a hassle of carrying my dice around in my pocket or some other way.
Like all the other reviews mention, it's big, really big! If you think you want that, by all means go ahead and buy this deck box.
If what you were looking for was something slightly bigger than your typical commander deck box, this is probably going to be too big.
My other concerns are around the construction, from the pictures it looks like it is a plastic type material, and there is some of that, but it is just a front for some cardboard. It seems like to me that moisture and humidity could cause problems for this deckbox quickly.
It has storage space for oversized cards which is nice, but lots of people don't even use those, also has room for dice but isn't as elegant as what you could get from ultimate guard for example.
This deckbox is trying to do a lot, and ultimately doesn't seem to succeed at much of it - except being big.
