Easy to assemble though instructions consisted of only a graphic. Used it the first time today. My bicycle is a Specialized hybrid, so easy to pedal and good balance. The trailer was easy to hitch, and I didn't feel much of a difference pedalling with it empty. Rattled a lot, but this is to be expected with a plastic crate in a metal frame, and one reviewer mentioned this so I wasn't surprised.
I first pedalled about 6km to deliver my husband's lunch, using cycle lanes and wide pavement**. The trailer is fine on cycle lanes, width is about the same as handlebars. I found it surprisingly easy on sharp corners. Wide pavement was likewise fine, even though there were many bumps and uneven bits, and one small part is totally broken up, essentially off-road terrain. It also did amazingly well going down a kerb, and back up the other side, four times in total. Mind, this was with it empty.
I then went to do the week's shopping (most of it, anyway) at Lidl. The trailer was a little difficult to unhitch, but I just pushed the section of the connection which has the ball joint up a bit and it was fine after that. The little leg at the front was easy to swing down, and we were good to go. I wheeled the trailer into the shop and used it as a shopping trolley without any hassles, though the stem at the front does stick out quite far. It does draw attention, though!
Through the till was again no problem. I wheeled it out, a bit worried as it was very heavy now: the crate was chock-a-block. I actually had to kind of tie down the shopping with the rain cover. No doubt I well exceeded the maximum weight and felt a bit apprehensive about cycling with the trailer loaded to that extent. However, it was fine, performed well, though in fairness it's less than 1km from the shop to my house and very flat.
I'd definitely recommend this trailer. Others have said in reviews that it did fine on rough terrain, and I'd concur with that. I especially like that it's very basic and plain, because I can now add reflective strips and things that *I* like rather than being stuck with someone else's design. One drawback is that even though the wheels remove and the trailer is not that big, it doesn't fold flat. It compensates for that by offering the plastic crate, which would be more durable than the canvas-covered-wood-base alternative I was looking at. It also eliminates what I saw other reviewers caution against with canvas-side cargo trailers, that when fully loaded the sides bulge and rub against the wheel.
There's some space between the side of the crate and the side of the trailer frame which can be used for folded-flat stuff, so all in all I'm really happy with the choice I made.
**It's illegal to cycle on pavement in Ireland, but I'd rather pay a fine than risk my neck on the road in this particular spot, it's very busy bypass and dangerous to cycle in normally, nevermind with a trailer. I stopped and pulled over until they passed everytime I encountered a pedestrian.

I purchased this trailer to carry my fishing kit some 3 kms down minor roads, tracks & footpaths along the river Wye near Simonds Yat West where there is little parking or vehicular access. Some of the paths are extremely rough & bumpy and I had no idea how it would handle them. I need not have worried. It is quiet (now), strong, well balanced & carries everything I need &, after one or two minor modifications, with no trouble at all. Most of my kit goes inside the box under the waterproof cover with one or two rods & net pole on top secured with elastic straps to the draw bar handles in front & trailer frame at the back. It remains easy to tow. My alterations were as follows, first to secure the hitherto loose plastic box inside the frame to stop its terrible head turning rattle. This was achieved with 4 M4 stainless set screws & nylock nuts through holes drilled in the bottom frame members. Being so small any loss of strength is minimal. Next I fitted a removable holder for my landing net made from square plastic rainwater pipe. With the box fixed towards one side there is ample room for this on top of the frame between the wheel and box. Then a reflective red & white stripe on the back of the box. The only major problem I experienced was with the somewhat poor tow bar. This is in two parts, one fixes to the seat tube and one to the ball, clamped together with a nut & bolt. Due to the bracket compressing when the two parts were clamped together I found it impossible to get it tight enough to stay put without distorting badly. I needed a small piece of tube between the brackets to stop it crushing. Now its fine. The wheels are removable but come away with fairly long axles attached. This reduces the trailers height and width sufficiently when needed enabling it to fit into my small car's boot with a seat down. Capacity is stated as 70 Lts but no load is given so I don't know if I am overloading it.

I have been looking at bike trailers to use for my shopping for a while and found this to be the best value for money and capacity.
The instructions were simple, but easily understood and the trailer was easy to put together. I have used it several times now and other than the towing hitch being a little rattly (it only requires a little fettling) it has made shopping on my bike a lot easier. I simply park up my bike, lower the little bar that acts as a stand for the trailer, detach the trailer and go in store! Fill it with my shopping (£35 worth of Lidl shopping and could have fitted in more if needed), go through the checkout (paying for my shopping of course!) then hook it back up to my bike and go :-) I can even wheel the trailer into the kitchen to unload.
The trailer handles rough terrain well, part of my journey to the shops goes over a very poor road surface. Once loaded it handles just as well and being attached to the seat post, doesn't affect the bike at all, that I noticed.
The trailer comes with 2x red reflectors, 2x orange reflectors and 2x white reflectors. There is also space to put lights on the rear as well if needed. Although I haven't had a chance to test effectiveness of the waterproof cover, it looks though it would be very good in the wetter and, again is of a high quality. The black storage box is solid and sits in the frame of the trailer. This helps increase its versatility. The tubing of the frame also means you can use bungee straps if needed.
