I love it overall!
No problems with scoring. The only way I could see scoring errors is IF you hit the metal webbing which is a bit too thick. I seem to hit that a lot, which bounces my darts out. Even then, it usually scores still. I think I've had 1-3 bad score errors the entire time. And two of those I wasn't sure because the dart bounced out.
I love the big score pad for cricket and other games. The X O, etc. is great for viewing. I can easily read the numbers as well. Has lots of options and even Random cricket which is rare. The board is a great color scheme and 15" board like the bars.
The darts that come with it (That I don't use) are actually pretty good. They stick 90-95% of the time. Way better then any other darts. But, of course they are light. But they have real flights, and feel real good when throwing. Nice that they can be held in the compartment area.
The little drawer is cool for tips and flights, but it does open up after time when darts are thrown.
Directions are fantastic and the quality is fantastic other then the magnetic door. The door is ok, but it is flimsy and seems like it won't shut properly. But, a little lift up and the magnetic sticks well to keep it together. I think it's just to heavy, so the arms just make it droop a little bit. No big deal.
It's all setup for you and ready to go which is nice.
Mounting the board is FANTASTIC. Really happy with this. The back has 2 screws to attach to wall. Then there are 3 hidden screws right in the very front of the board that you can really lock it down to the wall. My board does not move at all.
The game CPU options take a bit of getting used too, but easy once you understand it. I almost wish they would have broken it up with exact buttons. So 1 button means "this" type of thing. On/Off button for example. It still can get confusing ending and starting up a new game sometimes
This is more like a scrolling option functionality. You get used to it though. It works.
Love the saved game options. I can save my favorite games and easily pick that game instead of going through all the options every time.
Love the "Computer player" option. I find it very hard if not near impossible to beat the highest setting. I've only been able to beat level 3 of 5 so far and I'm a decent player.
You can have CPU player with real players. Options are fantastic overall.
Love that you can view each dart and each score per dart, with a total of your darts score. (Top of the board screen)
Here is my only negatives:
When it said keeps track of high score - I was HOPING that it would keep track of your actual dart ranking like in the arcade style cabinets. However, it's only a ranking for that game. (Ex. player 1 = 1st, player 2 = 2nd - Big deal - we know who won so this is stupid.
-I've had a few problems with sound. It went away a few times on me, but not often. It's also fine after I shutdown. I think my problem was when I loaded a saved game it lost sound somehow. Not a big issue and has not happened for a long time, but the sound I actually ENJOY having on. I like knowing what's going on.
-However, the downside of the sound is that it takes too long between turns.
-There are bounce outs with good/heavy darts - Some thrower types are worse then others too. Different tips DO help though. Some of this is due to the extra large metal webbing that gets hit and then bounces off the metal. However, my board has gotten better over time!
I think the spots open up a little bit and allow the dart to stick a little better over time. (Bro has same board but older and his sticks way better - 90%)
I'd say, with my personal darts it sticks 80% with 10% hitting the metal to bounce out.
Overall, I'm fine with bounce outs and even bars will have them. The metal webbing is the real problem here.
-Single bull doesn't stay when loading a saved game. Kind of sucks. But, at least they have single and double bull option which I like.
Overall - VERY HAPPY. It's like a bar board IMO. Well as close as you can get for these types anyway. I have no major problems and it's holding up great with a lot of heavy use.
If it could only just give me my "ranking" :) But, I'm very satisfied with it.
It would be nice if it displayed the round you are shooting.
Having to go out and come back in after every game, no such thing as a restart same game button.
Even though you can "program" certain games and number of players it does not seem capable of saving the bullseye setting (single or double) and that must be reprogrammed before each game.
I have had no miss reads, I have had some previous boards that would register say a double 3 when you miss outside the double 3.
