5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas ZERO grams of sugar, NO preservatives, taste is JUST FINE 27 de enero de 2012

I don't generally post a lot of comments, but based on some of the negative comments I feel I need to. First of all, I have candida. I have looked and looked to find a liquid multivitamin supplement with zero grams of sugar, and this is the only one on the market I could find. Yes it contains Brewer's Yeast, but both Brewer's Yeast and Nutritional Yeast or ok for candida diet.

Let me first address the "vomit" taste concern that was brought up by some other reviewers. People, you've got to be kidding. If you drink soda pop, pasteurized juices, refined sugar, and other sweets in abundance, then this vitamin supplement probably won't be for you. Even still, this drink tastes nothing like vomit. If you think it does, I wish my vomit tasted half as good as yours. Believe it or not, I actually don't mind the taste, and I take it on an empty stomach to speed up the absorption rate and have experienced no problems.

I soooo hope Garden of Life does not cave in to our culture's demand for sweets and more sweets by adding juice to sweeten this drink up. It's perfectly fine as is. Again, ZERO grams of sugar and NO PRESERVATIVES is the highest priority to me. I highly recommend this product.

Based on several negative reviews I was on the fence about GOL Vitamin Code for a couple of months. Vomit and gasoline. LOL. Really great, effective adjectives to scare one away.

Well, I'd read that liquid supplements are more readily absorbed by the body than their tablet counterparts and after my naturopathic doctor confirmed this, I started looking for a good brand. Whole Foods, Amazon and the Web. Nada, zilch, diddly-squat. As many of the reviewers have stated, finding liquid supplements without preservatives, synthetic vitamins/minerals, other questionable ingredients, has been impossible. Every one of them have preservatives such as sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, and a variety of other toxic ingredients. This bad news defeats the whole purpose of taking a "health" promoting product in the first place! Looking for a good-for-you liquid multivitamin was like searching for that proverbial needle in the haystack...until now, thanks to GOF. Not only does it not have toxic preservatives, the vitamins and minerals come in the form your body recognizes, such as folate instead of more popular and cheaper synthetic imposter--folic acid. The ingredients come from REAL organic fruits, vegetables, sprouted grains, and has NO added sugar. Read the ingredient list and be prepared to be impressed.

So I finally took the plunge, figuring that if it indeed tasted like "vomit and gasoline" I could easily return it. (Who drinks gasoline anyway?? Just say NO!). After shaking and opening my Fruit Punch bottle, I braced myself for what I assumed would be the drink of death, the killer drink that would make me want to swear and take Jordan Rubin's name in vain. After swallowing quickly, chasing it with a small glass of water, and blinking a few times, I realized that I was OK, I didn't want to puke. The negative reviews were wrong and almost kept me from buying this great product. Don't misunderstand me, it is not delicious, but for those who are used to taking supplements and figuring not all that is GOOD for you has a flavor one craves, it was a pleasant surprise.

As an aside, name ONE liquid multivitamin that's yummy-tasty, and I bet it is so because of some artificial, synthetic, sugary additive, and in THAT case I would run in the opposite direction of that company. They are not producing a product that is in your best interest, but their$. Of course, ideally we'd all be eating a purist diet, shock-full of all the nutrients we need. I try to eat lots of organic fruits and veggies, but if you're like me, it doesn't always consistently happen, and so this GOF product is good insurance that I'm providing my body the nutrients it needs to healthfully and gracefully age.

In addition, my husband took it yesterday. I had not mentioned the flavor factor, and watched wide-eyed, with anticipation. He, who normally doesn't bother much with supplements, other than fish oil and vit C, took it and made no comment, no complaints. There you go. Proof. If he can take it, it doesn't taste like vomit and gasoline, otherwise he wouldn't mess with it. He likes the fact that this one product will save us money, replacing lots of other bottles in our cabinet, because it's all in this one bottle.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Garden Of Life Liquid Multivitamin is AWESOME 20 de marzo de 2017

Garden Of Life Liquid Multivitamin is AWESOME. My husband, children and I drink this every other day. Since we've all been drinking this vitamin none of us have been sick (for quite some time already)... Even being around sick people! I'm reading reviews of people saying it tastes horrible.... They're being ridiculous and exaggerating. It's definitely not a delicious fruit juice you'd like to drink a tall glass of, but it does NOT taste like vomit, or like something rancid or like gasoline or any other ridiculousness I'm reading on here. I'm curious though, all of these super foods and greens in one bottle- what the heck were you people expecting this to taste like? Rainbow Skittles?? I've got children ranging from 4-11 and they all drink it WITHOUT even needing to chase it with water. If you really aren't about that healthy life and everything you eat needs to please your palet then this is not for you. I don't care if you're a clean and healthy eater (like our family), vegan, Paleo, whatever- nobody really can ever get enough of the full range of these amazing super foods and greens. Might as well drink it. FYI our family prefers the Orange Mango flavor. Blessings!

It's great that there are companies like Garden of Life out there producing products like this that I can use to improve my health and vitality without concern for ingesting any other crap. (Thank you GOL!) The taste will take some getting used to -- but it's a permittable compromise considering that every ingredient in the bottle is natural. I started taking this supplement about two weeks ago and I do feel like my health is gradually improving following a stint of acid reflux. For a while I could not take this due to the acid reflux (i think it's the apple cider vinegar) but after my esophagus healed I found I was able to start tolerating small amounts. I'm now taking full doses every morning -- mixed with a protein shake which I find helps take the edge off the acidity of the supplement. If you are just starting out with this supplement, I advise you (as many other reviewers have as well) to start with a small diluted dose to acclimate your stomach to it. It may make you queasy if you try to go full-dosage with no acclimation. In summation -- very pleased and will continue to support this company as long as they continue to make quality natural products.

I have been taking this for a week now. I moved to a liquid daily multivitamin at the direction of a doctor due to a medical issue. I see a lot of complaints in the reviews about the taste. I realize taste is incredibly subjective but the serving size is 2 tbsp per day and it seems to me that most people should be able to knock back that amount without much of it hitting the front part of the tongue or mouth. Nothing in the directions says to swish the serving amount around in your mouth or gargle. It does not taste great enough to want to serve it to friends while sitting by the pool but it is certainly palatable. Of course, my bar on the 'what is palatable' scale might be different than that of most because I also have to take a liquid medication called Lactulose which is absolutely horrid (this med has absolutely nothing to do with lactose or intolerance.) This is a dream compared to that.

I would certainly encourage anyone looking for a quality liquid daily multivitamin to give this a shot. The label should provide you with enough information about the contents and daily percentage equivalents.
