1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas I really wanted to love it... 15 de abril de 2013

But it was very poorly made. For a foot pedal it is dangerously cheap. One of the buttons flew off when I simply pushed them to record. I was sitting at my keyboard, not even standing. I have just bought the Electro Harmonix 2880 - and I have to say it is a world of difference quality wise, and, it does exactly what I want it to do. I've had the Boss RC-30, which has some attributes the 2880 doesn't have, but all in all, I truly don't recommend this product. Sorry to say, I took it back.

I will start off that I am a novice at guitar playing and this is my first looper pedal. I had watched the videos by Vox and this looked like a promising purchase. There is a variety of sounds that this pedal creates as well as looping, but it's not the easiest pedal to use. I am not very fond of many of the presets, they sound very cheap and empty. Through reading the manual I found how to edits the tones and make it sound a bit better though there aren't many ways to edit the tones. But for the primary purpose of the pedal as a looper it works great! If you need a looping pedal it does that exactly and more.

3.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Not user friendly 15 de julio de 2013

I chose the VOX because it had an expression pedal and tons of effects. What I really wanted was a easy to use looper stomp box. If you're really into writing programs and memorizing dozens of steps, then this anal retentive VOX is for you. After watching a bunch of YouTube, alot of the good Indie artists and Cigar Box Guitar community are using an AKAI Headrush. I wish I had bought the AKAI or spent some more money on a BOSS.
5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas A great tool for building your own backing band on the spot 15 de marzo de 2015
Por Nevin S. Dawson - Publicado en Amazon.com
I really enjoy using this pedal. It has more bells and whistles than I could have asked for, and I've found a use for a good number of them. They've packed a lot of features into a relatively small space, so it can take some complicated footwork to make the most of them. I didn't already have a multi-effects pedal, so I was happy to find a looper that includes those functions, especially one including a real wah with expression pedal (which is great for volume control too). A lot of high-level looper musicians play with socks or bare feet to keep their stomps accurate, and I recommend doing so with this model. The big drawback for some will be the complete absence of memory space--once you hit the off switch everything is gone forever. I like this, as I wanted something solely for building my own backing band live on the spot and this keeps me honest. If I want to remember the gist of something in order to recreate it later, I just record an audio snippet with my phone.

A few nitpicky cons: The excellent user's manual started falling apart at the binding almost as soon as I started reading it. It would be nice to be able to combine multiple effects in a more robust way--I'm not sure if this is standard on other multi-effect pedals. I have a couple times accidentally bumped the wrong pedal during a performance, making for an embarrassing glitch in the sound.

Remember that this does take time and practice to learn, as it's almost an instrument in its own right, especially when you're making use of the more advanced looper effects.
