Fácil de usar, cómodo y sin moverte de casa. El consumo de baterías es bajo y además te indica el nivel de carga de las mismas. Y todos mis registros en el iPhone 5 e iPad.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas The thing simply does not work! Period! 2 de abril de 2014

Simply didn't work. I don't know if I got a dud or if something else was wrong, but I am not a "tech dummy" and could not get the thing to make a peep! Not on my iPhone. Not on my iPad. Not on my iTouch. Since the device has no power button or status light, there was no way of knowing if the batteries were working. But I tried 3 separate sets of batteries, too. Nothing!

Returning the thing was a huge pain the rear, but I finally got my money back.

It's a cool idea, but horribly engineered.
4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Easy to use, and tracks your BP nicely. 8 de febrero de 2014

So after being diagnosed with hypertension and required to check my bp 2 times a day for a while I bought this device to use because it worked with my iPhone 4s and since I have that thing with me at all times why not. It was easy to set up down load the app and plug it into the iPhone. Hit start and it self inflates, not too much and lowers taking about 20 seconds from start to finish and automatically logs my BP and heart rate in the app in a graph or list view. I've been tracking for over 3 weeks now and the batteries seem to be holding up with testing 3 times per day. You can use it on multiple people in the same app.

Pros: Easy to use and put on yourself. Wake your iPhone and unlock your screen, plug in the BP devise and the app automatically opens and you hit start and wait until the stop button turns back to green. You BP and HR are automatically logged. Free app, works with iPhone 4 and 4s, you will need an adapter for the iPhone 5. Nice, attractive design, sturdy feeling. Easy to open with battery compartment with a coin and uses AAA batteries. Claim 1000 uses on batteries, I have not used it 1000 times. The Withings App is very handy to track weight, BP, heart Rate, activity and sleep with the ability to add on other Withings devices. A built in reminder reminds you to check your BP, you control when by setting the reminder. I use this to remind me to take my medication too. The app had the ability to email your Dr a chart of your readings. It's pretty close to the readings in the Dr. office +/- 4.

Con: Price.. 129 bucks for a BP monitor is a bit much, but if you want the convenience it costs. Lack of out of the box iPhone 5 compatibility, requiring your to buy a 30 dollar adapter. Not wireless, although the Withings website says a wireless version is pending FDA approval and is not available. Guess Europe has figured out that a wireless device will not interfere with people who don't have electronic things in their bodies, but hey can't blame the FDA bureaucracy on Withings. The pathetic storage bag this thing comes with is insulting. Yeah it's stylish right out of the box but come on Withings, we just paid 129 dollars for a BP monitor and you couldn't throw in a nicer storage bag? It's basically a sack with an open end, and very flimsy. A nice zippered pouch with some padding would have been nice.

Overall: I like this product, time will tell if it lasts but so far so good. It's easy to use, makes a nice report I can send to my Dr. and chart some overall health stats that will help get me off the BP meds. I'd recommend this product for anyone who likes convenience and automated logging. I'd wait for the wireless version if you didn't need one right now. -1 star for non wireless ability, poor storage bag, no adapter included for use with iphone 5, and price, I think the price point is about $40 too high.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Stopped working - Says low battery even with fresh batteries 31 de marzo de 2014

Junk. It stopped working with a "low battery" warning, even with fresh, new batteries. I cleaned the battery contacts with alcohol and still no luck. Withings customer service has been horrible and/or non-existent. I think they are trying to bail on supporting what they know is a broken product.

I'll never buy a Withings product again, since I feel like they aren't supporting a clear problem with their product.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas LOW BATTERY MESSAGE 20 de diciembre de 2013
Por William Haynsworth - Publicado en

Wow, I've had nothing but issues with both the Withings Pulse and now the blood pressure monitor. I have not been able to use the BPM because of Low Battery message that continues to appear (and rendering the product useless) even though i've replaced the batteries that came with it and tried cleaning the contacts and all the things Withings says to try when this message appears... The fact that they have this information posted on their trouble shooting links for this product leads me to believe it must be common.. And they do have a problem with this issue. I just read many 1-star reviews from others having the same problem.. bummer. Time to send it back to Amazon.

UPDATE: after emailing mfg asking for help, here's the lame answer I received:

I apologize for the issue with your monitor. There are still a few troubleshooting steps we can try to help resolve your issue.
Please try rebooting your iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch). Also, please try connecting the blood pressure monitor to another device to see if the issue persists. If it does not, then the problem is not with the blood pressure monitor. If it does in fact persist, then there may be an issue with the monitor.
It is even possible the dock connector on your device may be dirty or possibly even damaged. The dock can be cleaned by using an ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) safe brush, but it may be a good idea to contact Apple support if you suspect that there is an issue with the dock connector on your iPhone or iPad.
If none of these actions solved your problem, don't hesitate to get back to us.

1.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Customer Service is crap, device longevity is even crappier 18 de diciembre de 2012

When I bought the BP-800 at first, it seemed like it worked pretty well. It was fairly accurate and consistent when I took the average of my 3 blood pressure measurements. I used it a handful of times at first, but then I stopped using it since I already had good blood pressure and eventually over time I forgot about it. Fast forward to a year later, my friend was asking me for a recommendation for a blood pressure monitor. Naturally I suggested getting the Withings BP-800 blood pressure monitor and even volunteered giving a demo of the device. Imagine my surprise (and me being slightly embarrassed) when I took it out, tried it out, and it didn't work. I figured it might be the batteries, so I changed it and tried it again. No luck. I emailed customer support asking what's going on? Of course I get the automatic newbie response... did you try rebooting your iDevice? Did you try using another iDevice? Change batteries? I'm like duh, yes I did all of that. Then they asked me for my invoice and then concluded that my device is out of warranty (I had it slightly over a year). Ok, fine, the warranty is only for one year. But that's it? I'm basically SOL? After just a few uses? I was offered to exchange my old one to get a new one for 50% off. HA!!! Are you crazy? With the device not working after just a few uses? Having this kind of product and service, I don't feel confident in investing in future Withings products. Their products are sold at a much higher premium than other devices like iHealth, fitbit, etc. They even had to cheapen down their scale and removed the fat monitoring feature (which was highly inaccurate) just to compete price wise. Soon as my current Withings Scale breaks (which I suspect might be soon given my luck with their products), I'm moving off of Withings completely and finding a better product with better service. My message to everyone is: do yourself a favor and find a cheaper, better alternative. The extra premium isn't worth it and you won't get longevity and good service with Withings.
