5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas Problem with bunion and blistering solved? 19 de febrero de 2013

I hope I'm not too eager to rate this as a 5 star, but this is what's been happening: I've been training for a 1/2 marathon, and I've got a nasty bunion on one of my feet. Because of it, I've been blistering rather easily, underneath and around it. I was blistering even if I was only running 4 miles some days, and kept breaking open the blisters I had, which were very painful. After some gel padding and care, I finally was able to heal the blisters, but with other socks I still had to wear some type of padding/protection on my bunion, or I would continue to blister. With these socks, after I healed the blisters (again), I decided to put them to the test and wear only the socks, without any padding/protection for my bunion. I ran 16.36 miles last week, and no problems--no irritation, redness, cracking, or blistering around my bunion! So, if there's a change, I will update this review, but for now, I am very satisfied with this purchase, and plan on purchasing more of these socks! They are very comfortable, fit snugly, and are true to size.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas WE HAVE A WINNER! 18 de septiembre de 2014

I have several pairs of nice running socks. All of them work well for me for running. However, I was preparing for a 60 mile walk to fight breast cancer, and when I WALK on the road, I get hot spots and blisters every single time. I tried every sock and lube combo I could think of. 3 days before the walk, I came across Wrightsocks. I wore them for a short 4 mile walk at home and for the first time didn't have any hotspots. I quickly ordered 5 more pair for the walk. I still wasn't sure if they'd get me through 60 miles though. I ended up using them in combo with Vaseline on my feet. I stopped a couple times a day and re-lubed my feet with Vaseline, and changed socks midway through the day. (Note -The Vaseline only feels icky for the first few steps.) I DID IT! I made it the full 60 miles without getting a single blister! NONE! I guess I'm completely sold on the Wrightsock and Vaseline combo!

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas BEST BLISTER SOCK EVER!!! ...I don't use "all-caps" lightly either. 18 de octubre de 2016

These are the best blister socks I have tried. I play roller derby and am in my skates 6-18 hours a week. I developed a big ole callus that then developed a painful blister underneath the callus. Hence my search for anti-blister socks began. Some have helped a bit, some not at all... these fixed the problem. If you do high-impact stuff on your feet and are suffering from blisters, these may be your salvation too. They are a little spendy, but now that I know that they work I will be purchasing a few more pairs. I wear a size 10 in women's shoes and the Medium fit nice.

4.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas No Blisters! 17 de abril de 2013

Wright Socks are great. I wear them running, hiking, working out, etc. They keep me virtually blister-proof. (I've only gotten blisters once in the last 7 years since switching to Wright Socks and that was after walking 50 miles on pavement in two days!)

The only small drawback is that they tend to shrink over time.

5.0 de un máximo de 5 estrellas These really work! 5 de junio de 2015

I've been going on a 4-mile walk/hike every day in my neighborhood. It's the only exercise I can do while I'm recovering from brain surgery. But I developed horrible blisters and couldn't walk for weeks. I researched online how to best heal them and my doctor also mentioned blister prevention socks. I tried another brand first and even with mole-skin, vaseline and other approaches to blister prevention, I still got blisters and painful hot spots. Then I found these Wrightsock brand double-layer socks. It's the double layer that is the key to their ingenious design. The two layers rub together and there's no friction on your skin. I haven't had any blisters or hot spots since I started wearing these and I no longer need moleskin. I'm ordering more!
